A year after…

I have been waiting for this sunrise for a year. I started to shoot this tower from my window a couple of years ago. And I wondered if the sun, rising right behind it, would be a nice photo. Last year, the weather was grey and cloudy during the week-end when the alignment should be right. So I had to wait, a year, to estimate when the right week-end would arrive (I leave too early during the week to watch the sunrise). I was a bit wrong. I wanted the sun to rise a bit on the left of the tower, to be right behind the top when I would shoot. So the timing wasn’t perfect. And I wished I had a 500mm for this photo. But it looks fine, and it just says that everything can’t always be perfect, just enjoy what you have. I will still try again next year.
